There are days when I can hardly bring myself to do just enough around the house to keep it somewhat manageable. Thank goodness for a husband who is a teacher with the summer off, otherwise we may be living in chaos! When you’re overwhelmed, it’s a good idea to take a step back and look at what is stressing you out the most.
Before starting your mom blog, you were super excited to dive in. Starting a blog sounded like a dream you were ready to indulge in and you read all the posts on how to get started. You saw people making thousands in their first month blogging and you were excited to get it going and make it your “side hustle”. It all sounded great, didn’t it?
That Saturday morning, I woke up with grand schemes to get all the things done. I decided I was going to be super productive, clean the whole house while daddy was home and do everything I had been putting off for weeks. But then, my beautiful son, I held you instead.
We are finishing up our homeschool Kindergarten year and it has been quite a learning experience! Although we’ve “technically” been homeschooling for 2 years now, I don’t really count our Pre-K year too much since it was mostly just a lot of play with integrated learning.
We struggle as moms. Often, we feel pulled in a million different directions and sometimes can’t tell which way is up. Being a mom is hard. As a SAHM, I struggle with things I didn’t struggle with as a working mom and vice versa.
